Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here and holy crap do I need to write this fast! It’s Friday night which means SmackDown time is coming up soon and I got in pretty late today! Luckily, as usual, there’s not a whole lot to cover so let’s go ahead and get tonight’s antics out of the way! WWE SmackDown is on in less than ten minutes is on in less than ten minutes at the time of writing this, after all!
Tonight, Alexa Bliss brings back one of the many, many, fairly obscure, seldom-used in-ring talkshows that have technically been active in WWE for quite some time.
Lacey Evans will be a guest on tonight’s edition of A Moment Of Bliss.
This is, of course, an excuse to get Lacey Evans in the ring for another segment that will inevitably involve Bayley and Sasha Banks. Someone is getting laid out and it’s unlikely that the host will be able to avoid involvement in that, atleast going by tradition.
It is atleast somewhat interesting that we’ll have Alexa and presumably her partner Nikki Cross out there. Up against the two top heels in the division over on the blue brand, Lacey Evans could certainly use some babyfaces to help her out. Facing off with them in tag action seems a foregone conclusion, but there’s a few options for partners there.
Last week it looked like Dana Brooke would end up allying with her, but they could always change course there. Nikki Cross has been at odds with Bayley for months already after all, and Alexa herself could just as easily get involved. It’s worth noting that Sasha and Bayley’s angle has basically been deriding and calling out the entire division time after time, so they shouldn’t have trouble making new enemies whenever necessary.
