Nothing like kicking off the week with a potential character building episode, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers have the spoilery goodies to prove it.
There’s going to be more feel good moments than conflict in this episode to give us a break from the emotionally charged moments lately, but there’ll still be some meat on the bone.
Nothing ever goes smoothly in Genoa City, and the twists could make these storylines pretty interesting.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, April 4: Not budging
With Victor Newman (Eric Braden)’s new move of replacing Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as acting CEO of Newman-Locke, he’s fired another salvo.
While he claims this is only because Victoria is going to Tuscany, the real intent is to force Victoria to feel her lease being tugged and to fall into line.
Victor will hope that by seeing Victoria so easily controlled Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will see Victor as the real power and give up his fight.
But Ashland can be just as stubborn and ruthless and he’ll stand his ground. In fact, he may become indignant over the fact Victoria lost her position so easily, even if it’s just “temporary.”
He could even offer to leave the company so Victoria doesn’t have to deal with this. It’ll be what she and Victor want, but it would also give her doubt as to how guilty he really is.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers know it won’t happen, but this would be a great way to start eroding Victor’s power and have him struggle to get back what’s his. Or better yet, have to rely on his children to do it for him.

We’ve been expecting this, and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will continued to bond with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).
She’ll appreciate their new friendship and Rey may enjoy talking with someone that just appreciate him and expects nothing more than friendship.
Of course, this will change and he won’t see it coming. He could even fall in love with her if the writers decide to take that route.
But most likely, Chelsea will either pull something underhanded or Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will push Ray away due to her own insecurities.
Either way, things are going to get heated and interesting between the new couple pretty soon.
