It’s Monday night, which means another edition of Monday Night Raw. I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer, here tonight for another round of previews. They were kind enough to announce three things in advance for tonight, so I’ll be taking a look at them all as usual. Without any further adieu, let’s see what’s on tap as we head into WWE Raw!
Tonight, we’re set to have an update on a happening from a house show last night.
Randy Orton to give an update on his medical condition following being pulled from a house match due to injury.
Last night at a house show in Hershey, PA, Randy Orton wrestled his ongoing rival AJ Styles, only to find his knee give way shortly into the match. The match ended up having to be stopped as he was helped to the back. While the nature of this led some to think it was legitimate, it’s quite likely to be part of a storyline.
Given the fact that it was AJ who he hurt it against, and given that AJ has been working over Orton’s knee for weeks as part of a storyline injury already, it’s very probable that it was simply meant to give a little credibility to the injury angle. This is made all the more apparent by the fact that Randy Orton is being advertised for an appearance in which he will be addressing the concerns.
It’s highly likely that AJ Styles and the rest of the OC, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, will be interrupting Orton here and perhaps attempt to put his knee further out of commission. I’d suspect that he’ll either end up carted off, or he’ll reveal to have been faking it and catch AJ off guard with an RKO outta nowhere. It’d be very in line with Orton’s character to do something like this.
