Viewers first met Alexei Brovarnik and his now-wife, Loren in Season 3 of the TLC show. He was a medic in Israel and he met Loren during her birthright trip. The duo fell in love, and over time, Alexei relocated to Florida to be with her. They eventually tied the knot both in America and Israel so that their families would attend.

Fans love Alexei and Loren so much, and the love extended to their two boys. The couple even ended up on a few spinoffs, and they have become staples on Happily Ever After? and Pillow Talk. In April of 2020 during the beginning of the pandemic, they announced that they were expecting their Baby boy, Shai and they documented his birth, his every move, and milestone.
The following year, they announced that they were expecting their second baby, and also revealed his gender via their YouTube channel. Loren’s documented her pregnancy on their own spinoff Loren & Alexei: After the 90 Days. Their son came earlier than expected and spent some time in the NICU. Now, the family of four is living their best lives in Florida.

Fans will recall that the Brovarnik family went through some struggles when Alexei came down with Covid-19 and the kids also caught it, leaving Loren to take care of them all by herself. They got better and Loren has time to travel while her husband stays back at home to play super-dad. Now, he is celebrating a Shai-milestone.
The two-year-old caught his first fish and Alexei shared with his fans. One fan wrote, “That’s adorable!! Great job Shai!!” and another person added, “This is so awesome! Congratulations Shai.” Another picture shows Shai showing his brother, Asher his catch. One fan wrote, “That’s so sweet of Shai showing Asher his fishie!!” Father and sons apparently had a lovely time bonding.
