Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Results!
Tonight looks like it’s going to be a fun one with Cody Rhodes in his first Raw match in 6 years, AJ Styles faces Damian Priest, and the Usos will be hunting the tag titles.
Let’s get to the action!
Miz TV
After a video package recapping Cody Rhodes’ return, the Miz came out to the ring.
There’s a special surprise as Jerry Lawler joined the commentary team to fill in for Corey Graves since he’s on his honeymoon.
The Miz introduced his guest for Miz TV, Cody Rhodes, and mentioned how Cody probably can’t beat him.
The crowd was louder than last week, but not by much. The Miz gave him grief for taking so long to get in the ring and Cody got the fans fired up by saying it’s been a long time since he was in front of a crowd like this.

Miz pointed out that if it wasn’t for the name Rhodes, he wouldn’t be the son of a plumber. Cody responded by saying a plumber would bet great since Miz is full of—”
Cody said Miz hasn’t changed and is still arrogant (pot meet kettle) and that Miz embraces it. He then lectured Miz that for six years he’s been getting ready to win the WWE Universal Championship title.
Miz ripped into Cody for coming on his show and embarrassing him. Cody told him he respects him and all his accomplishments, but Miz feels threatened by him.
Cody can’t wait for his first match on Raw in 6 years, and said may the best man win.
Miz went for an attack from behind, but Cody sidestepped and Miz went to the floor.
Dominik Mysterio vs. Veer Mahaan
Dom got the first shot in, but Veer mauled him after that with some clubbing blows and a Lout Thez Press.
Dom fought back and sent Veer to the floor, but Veer caught his crossbody and threw Dom into the barricade.
Veer threw him into the ring and locked in a cervical clutch for the win. He released the hold, then locked it on again and officials came out to break the hold.
Veer locked it in a third time and this time he released the hold only when he wanted to and a stretcher came out.
Backstage, Dominik was taken out by ambulance, and when asked why he continued attacking him, Veer said he strikes fear in the heart of every man.
They then showed a clip of AJ Styles attacked Damian Priest earlier today.
AJ Styles vs. Damian Priest
Styles went after Priest as soon as they bell rang, and he sent Priest to the floor with a clothesline. Styles then nailed him with a running knee on the apron, and a flying forearm off the apron.
Styles hit another forearm over the top rope as we headed to commercial.
After Priest had a flurry, Styles took back control with a reverse DDT and a combination of strikes, followed by a neckbreaker for a near pinfall.
Priest fought back and hit a flatliner for a near pinfall.

Priest countered a Phenomenal Forearm with a kick that sent Styles to the floor, and the lights turned purple as he took a knee in the middle of the ring as we headed to commercial.
We came back with the match over and Styles backstage complaining that he wasn’t done with Priest.
