It’s not unusual to find couples or a partner who uses 90 Day Fiancé or any show as a promotional platform. Season 9 couple Jibri and Miona have done just that as they have their brands and products out there as the season rolls on.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Are Jibri and Miona Using the Show as Free Promo? Well…
In taking a gander on Jibri or Miona’s Instagram, you’ll notice lots of promo. First over on Miona’s you’ll find beauty and make-up work. Not usual, actually. The @mionamakeup account is the active one of the two accounts in her bio.
Technically a portfolio for potential professional make-up work. It’s also linked on her blog—which is also in her Instagram bio. She’s also described as a “Palm Springs, CA Makeup artist” there. If you love Cameo and want Miona Bell to make one for you, then you’re in luck! She has personal videos going for $49 and promotional videos going for $270. So far, she’s gotten one review and one five-star.
Over on Jibri’s Instagram, there’s a mixture of outings with Miona, personal stuff, and photos of his Black Serbs shows. As expected, he links to his Black Serbs account. Like Miona, he also has a Direct.me landing page and it does the same thing: promo, personal YouTube, and their shared YouTube.
Something interesting is Jibri’s Cameo. He’s offering personal videos for $49—the same as Miona. That seems to be the base price for a lot of personal “Happy Birthday” or “Happy Anniversary” kinds of videos. However, if you want some promotion from the lead singer of Black Serbs, you’re going to need $499.
I don’t know, folks. You’d figure that 90 Day Fiancé gave them both roughly the same exposure to that show’s audiences in different markets. Also, at the moment, Miona seems to be the talk of the two. This isn’t about who should have top billing and charge more for their Cameos—by the way, Jibri Bell also has one review and one five-star.
This is about this couple getting their promotion in while on the current season and what you think of it. Personally, I say “Why not?”. You’re there, they’re filming your life–promote your stuff but don’t be hacky with it.
However, what do you think? Given the swirl of controversy—on multiple fronts—involving Miona and Jibri Bell, is this surprising? Should couples be free of promoting anything during the airing of the show to keep the legitimacy of the couples?
After all, it does raise questions of “Are they here for the relationship or the fame and exposure?” Even if viewers believe it should or shouldn’t, this couple already has a lot on their plate. This is stuff that takes away from being invested in the story and more in the outside mess because it negates the story.
