Fresh start and new beginnings
As the Iconics in the WWE, they won the Women’s Tag Team Champions (no lineage to the original) at WrestleMania 35 and added a good dose of entertainment as their over the top characters made them fun to watch and complain about.
Following their release in a round of WWE budget cuts in 2021, the lifelong friends stated that they’re a package deal for anyone interested in signing them.
After they signed with Impact Wrestling, they made their debut at Bound For Glory and won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship.
They had a good run as they feuded with the Influence (Madison Rayne, Tenille Dashwood) with the Influence’s manager/valet Kaleb with a K caught in the middle.
While there have been reports that Cassie was injured recently, she returned for a title match against the Influence at Rebellion.
Unfortunately, they weren’t successful but they did get a good response to the crowd as they quietly became a face team in the weeks leading up to the pay-per-view.
Over the last few months, they’ve upped their game on social media and expanding their presence, and we’re excited to see what’s next for them.
It’s been a fun ride and we hope to see them in the ring again at some point. If not, we thank them for the memories and wish both Cassie and Jessie nothing but the best as they continue to expand their boundaries.
