Members of the Kardashian family have been officially invited to the prestigious Met Gala. While some of the Kardashians have attended individually on various occasions, this year’s would be different as they are expected to attend together, as a family; this also includes spouses.
The Kardashian-Jenner Clan Set To Grace This Year’s Met Gala With Their Presence
Of all of Kris Jenner‘s daughters, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are the only ones who have not been invited to the Met Gala while Kim Kardashian seems to be the one with the most invites since 2013. Usually, Kim would attend with her ex-husband, Kanye West, her mother or her sisters Kendall and Kylie. However, this year, she is expected to attend with her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
The Kardashian Ladies and Their Spouses Were Invited To The Met Gala
In 2019, Kim revealed how her first appearance at the Met Gala in 2013 felt for her, she said she felt insecure at the time. Kim was pregnant with her first child and has worn a gown that was designed by Riccardo Tisci. Kim’s dress was discussed on various social media platforms as she was mocked.
Kourtney is expected to make her debut with her fiancé, Travis Barker by her side and Kylie is expected to be around as she’s gradually returning to the public scene since the birth of her second child. Kylie’s boyfriend, Travis Scott is however not expected at the Met Gala as he has been keeping a low profile due to the Astroworld tragedy.
In 2021, Kylie and Travis skipped the year’s Met Gala and rather had dinner together. While an insider made it clear that “everyone is scheduled to go,” Rob Kardashian, who is currently in a legal battle with his ex-girlfriend, is not expected to attend. The theme of this year’s Met Gala is Gilded Glamour, drawn from the Gilded age when Astos, Vanderbilts and Rockefellers ruled New York City. Fans cannot wait to see the Kardashians have in store.
