The issue started when Kobe found out that Emily is still breastfeeding her son who is over a year.

During a confessional, Kobe says that Emily has been “breastfeeding for like 17 months.” He continues to rant, “I told you this, like, listen. I’m coming home, and you need to start thinking on how you’re gonna have to, like, stop him from breastfeeding.” The clip shows Emily standing her ground, saying she won’t take the breastfeeding “bond” from her son because of Kobe “This time around it shouldn’t be like, it’s only about you and him,” Kobe says. “It’s, like, us.”

He later went on to explain that he is acting up because the boy is already a year old. He says that in his African culture, breastfeeding a child stops between the ages of 8 and 10 months. Emily’s dad then tells him that in America, it’s “the longer the better.”
Later in the confessional interview, Emily’s parents voice out how they feel about Kobe’s persistence. “I think Kobe was wrong completely,” the father says. “I mean, it’s perfectly natural for Emily to want to do what she needs to do to pump the milk.” Emily’s mom adds that his strong opinion in the situation is “disappointing.”

Kobe tells Emily,”I’m sorry to say this, but we are talking about my son, okay?” and she responds “Our son.” In a confessional, Kobe bares his mind: “She’s gonna be my wife and we make love, you know, and I have to suck her breasts ’cause I love breasts, to be honest. Alright? So, I can’t be sharing breasts with my son.”
He went on, “I don’t want to sound being selfish over here, but that’s just the truth.” Kobe and Emily met at a nightclub in China and they quickly got engaged. Emily fell pregnant shortly after, and she welcomed their son, Koban alone in America because Kobe had green card issues and Covid-19 outbreak extended the time they spent apart. Now, Kobe has moved to Kansas to be with his fiancée and child.
