WWE Raw Results returned as Cody Rhodes came to the ring and said he was told Seth Rollins isn’t there, and as he was ready to move forward Rollins attacked him.
He wondered what he took away from Rollins since he didn’t dilute Rollins’ legacy. Rollins is stuck in a purgatory of his own design and is trying to pull Cody in with him.
Cody then talked about Rollins arriving in the WWE while he was one of the bitter ones in the back. Rollins won his way to the top, while Cody’s story is different.
Cody played up the underdog role by saying he lost, scratched, and clawed while looking up at the lights with dead eyes but he prevailed.

He learned he’ll never be the American Dream, so why not embrace the nightmare?
He asked if Rollins losing two matches outweighs his quest for vindication. This is his second chance, and if Rollins wants to deny him that he’s going to have to kill him.
Cody then challenged Rollins to a Hell in a Cell match.
Rollins’ laughing filled the arena as he appeared on the titantron.
Rollins called him a fool as everyone that’s stepped into eh cell with him was changed forever. He’ll expose Cody for the fraud he is and accepted his challenge.
Had Cody not been in one of his designer suits, his underdog tale would’ve held more weight. Instead, if felt more like Vince McMahon crying destitution.
Ezekiel vs. Chad Gable w/Otis and Kevin Owens
Owens joined the announce team and wasted no time in calling Ezekiel and everyone not calling him Elias a liar.
Ezekiel started it off by countering Gable off the ropes with a flying shoulder block, but Gable went for an arm lock but Ezekiel rolled through it.

Gable kept after him but Ezekiel locked in a standing submission. Gable escaped with a sunset flip attempt and forced Ezekiel to the floor.
Ezekiel hung Gable up in the ropes and Otis nailed him with a clothesline as we headed to commercial.
After exchanging submission holds, Ezekiel took it to Gable, and he caught Gable coming off the top rope with a knee.
Ezekiel hit a mule kick and splash, but Gable tried to roll him up. Ezekiel countered into his own roll up for the win.

Lacey Evans came out to the ring and gave her respect to the men and women in the armed forces, and then demanded everyone in attendance to stand up and given them a round of applause.
She thanked everyone for the warm welcome, and how fighting and changing one’s circumstances is hard but we got what it takes to do so.
She walked a fine line between a face and heel with her demanding people stand up, but there were definite signs of a heel turn as has been reported previously.
Asuka vs. Becky Lynch
With Bianca Belair at ringside, we’re pretty sure she’ll become involved one way or another.
They wasted no time in going after each other, and Asuka hit a Hip Attack on the apron and kept after Lynch on the floor until Lynch his a Exploder into the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Asuka went for a pair of roll ups for pin attempts, and Asuka nailed her with a kick and stayed down herself.
After her breather, Asuka went on the attack with a hip attack, a knee strike, and a sliding clothesline for a near pinfall.

Lynch fired back with several strikes and a leg drop after she avoided a hip attack in the ropes.
Asuka countered a roll up with an Asuka Lock, but Lynch rolled through it for a pin attempt to break the hold.
Lynch jawed at Belair and Asuka attacked her from behind. Lynch then threw Asuka into Belair and and antagonized Belair so she could go for Asuka’s umbrella.
Asuka spit mist into her face first and hit a buzzsaw kick for the win to face Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship.
It’d be nice is having someone at ringside wasn’t always used as a gimmick for the matches, but the WWE loves their gimmicks.
