Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here and we have another episode of Monday Night Raw on tap here tonight! I’ll be here as always to give you the live recap and results from the show as they come! After a couple of genuine showstealers in the past, Buddy Murphy will take on Aleister Black tonight yet again!
This is the second Raw of the year, and for the most part, we’re all still reeling from that Lana/Lashley wedding for better or worse… but that’s far from the only thing on tap. We have another appearance from Brock Lesnar being advertised, where we’ll hopefully get some clarification on what it really means for him to be #1 in this year’s men’s Royal Rumble match! And that’s in addition to an inordinate amount of matches announced in advance for tonight! So let’s take a look at them, one by one, whilst we still have the time! Raw is actually ongoing already but there’s still more to cover so let’s get to it!
Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy
It’s really easy to love this feud. Even though when Black won 2-0 it seemed like things should’ve been sealed, I cannot be at all mad about them going to this again. After all they’re being matched up purely due to how damn good the action is! Buddy Murphy and Aleister Black have had a series of physical, athletic battles. Their last one on Raw in particular was a really exciting one, but for the second straight match, Murphy could not overtake Aleister Black.
Black is still undefeated since joining Monday Night Raw. As much as I’d like the idea of this becoming a really impressive streak, WWE just isn’t about those unless your name is Undertaker. And it’s hard to imagine they’d have Buddy lose three times straight when clearly they’re atleast somewhat high on him… calling Murphy over.
