Varya settled in Pensacola, Florida, but she relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee, after her partner, Geoffrey was sent to prison. She has been taking care of his house, dogs, and rental properties Varya hasn’t had it easy as an immigrant whose partner is in prison. She talked about how stressful her first year of immigration has been in the country. She recently took part in a medical study probably to distract herself from the stress.

However, she had a health scare during the screening process. Varya’s heartbeat was 40 when it should be at least 50. She eventually took part in the trial after her heart rate went up. But now, she is suffering serious side effect. The TLC star is not sleeping well and wakes up around 6 a.m. She said that she is now struggling with anxiety and often has a dry mouth.
She also complained that she constantly feels dizzy. Varya said, “I feel like I’m drunk, but I’m not drunk, obviously.” Varya is also having difficulty focusing, and her vision is also affected. She said that she hasn’t even been able to read on her phone.

Varya told the research staff about how she feels and they took her contact number and promised to get back to her. However, her facial expressions suggested that they didn’t keep their promise. After a while, she shared a photo of herself from the hospital and captioned it with, “Unfortunately, these are all side effects of the medication they give me for the research study, Antidepressants.” Varya was clearly unaware of the side effects that come with taking part in the study. Fans are hoping that she starts to feel better soon.
