MVP & Omos are looking to run Monday Night RAW, but first MVP needs to get past his old client Bobby Lashley. Having turned his back on Lashley, MVP has to deal with The Almighty, a man he helped take to the next level. It’s a handicap match here tonight, but this just makes it an even fight against the former two time WWE Champion. Before the match, Cedric Alexander offered aid to MVP – but was told off, with MVP saying the Hurt Business is dead forever.
Lashley Gets Some Aid From An Old Friend
MVP would start this match alongside Lashley, before cowering away from Lashley and tagging in Omos. Omos would block a suplex before shrugging off a suplex. Lashley would be challenged to a test of strength, but instead would strike away at Omos. A swing at MVP sent him off the apron, before Omos took a kick to the face.
MVP would grab the leg of Lashley – allowing Omos to hit a body splash in the corner and a choke toss. Finally tagging in, MVP would stomp away at Lashley before tagging to Omos. A suplex attempt from Lashley would be blocked into a slam, before Omos hit Snake Eyes and a body block into the corner.
MVP would hit the running boot to follow up, sending Lashley to the floor. Omos would hit a shoulder tackle through the barricade. Lashley avoided the count out before taking a knee drop in the ring. MVP set up the Playmaker, but Lashley escaped before hitting a spear. Omos would break the pinfall up.
Cedric Alexander would hit the ring, distracting Omos – allowing Lashley to hit the spear. MVP would be locked into the Hurt Lock, and this one was over. Lashley got an assist, and who knows – The Hurt Business might be back in business after all, just without MVP! After the match, Lashley posed with a replica WWE Championship – perhaps looking to face a certain Tribal Chief soon.
Kevin Owens Takes Ezekiel Through Hell
Ever since Ezekiel showed up on Monday Night RAW, and has taken to denying he’s actually Elias. This has driven Kevin Owens loony, and tonight it’s time for this to end. They will meet in a singles match, and Owens might not be able to prove he’s facing Elias, but he can prove he’s the better wrestler here tonight.
Ezekiel would have full fan support tonight, with Chicago Zekeing out. He’d hit the jumping high knee and the diving elbow drop for a two count. Owens would roll to the outside, before being driven into the ring post. Ezekiel would get tossed into the ring post, before taking a DDT in the middle of the ring. Owens would hit a moonsault off the second rope, and Ezekiel would have a growing wound over his left eye.
Ezekiel was taken into a rear chinlock, before fighting free and taking a kick to the back. Owens double fish hooked the mouth of Ezekiel, before hitting a heavy forearm smash. He’d whip Owens into the corner of the ring, before taking a tornado DDT for a two count.
Swanton Bomb would follow from Owens, but he landed on the knees of Ezekiel. A flurry of strikes would follow from Ezekiel, before a set of stinger splashes. Owens dodged the third, before being planted with a spinebuster for a two count. Ezekiel would be hit with the Pop Up Powerbomb, but was able to fight free.
A jumping knee to the jaw would land, but Ezekiel would be caught on the top rope. Stunner would land, and Owens got the victory. He might not be able to prove that was Elias, but a win is enough.
Will Ezekiel ever reveal he’s Elias? Is he actually the brother of Elias? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
