Fans of the famous actor Chris Hemsworth claim that he is on steroids. People, in general, when they see someone with muscular mass greater than a regular person, immediately rush to brand him as a ‘steroid user’ or juice head.
This seems frustrating for all the people that know what it takes to build such muscle mass and maintain it over time. Joe Rogan is surely one of the people who do know this. Furthermore, he is one of the people who know how to appreciate someone’s work and dedication to reach and maintain something.
Do not take this the wrong way, Joe doesn’t disagree with the allegations that ‘Thor’ is on steroids. He surely believes so as well, however, he says that there is more to it than just steroids. While people are not looking at the greater picture, Joe sees it all. He expresses his views on the matter while guesting at Andrew Schultz’s Flagrant Podcast.
Fans Claim ‘Thor’ Chris Hemsworth Uses Steroids – Joe Rogan Jumps In Actor’s Defense
“Have you ever watched Hemsworth’s workouts? People are like, ‘He’s taking steroids!’ For sure, United States Anti-Doping Agency is not knocking on Chris Hemsworth’s door. But you don’t get that big without immense amounts of hard work. There’s no way. People think he’s just taking steroids. Bro, relax!” – the famous UFC commentator says.
Joe Rogan has pointed out several times on his podcast that he is a ‘recreational’ user of PDAs. He says that they make him gain muscle faster, make him feel better, and moreover make him feel younger. He can train and do stuff with the same ease as when he was 20 years old. And that is the advantage of taking steroids. According to Joe Rogan, and science, as soon as you pass your 25th year of age, your natural testosterone levels start to drop. This causes you to reduce the amount of muscle mass that you are able to gain and makes you more prone to injuries. But, you are not reaching peak performance as you previously were and that makes you extremely frustrated.
But, taking steroids alone will not give you Chris Hemsworth’s body, or looks. No, it has to be backed up with intense training, a regular and quality diet, and plenty of rest. If one of the above is lacking, you’ll not be able to achieve what you want to achieve.
Taking of PDA’s is a complete taboo topic for all sports. They are widely used in all sports, including martial arts and especially bodybuilding. However, people do not speak about it. It is more like a ‘publicly known’ secret.
When actors and entertainers take these substances, then it is not a big deal. On occasions, they are in need to improve their looks fast, and PDAs allow you to do that, if you back it up with all the needed stuff.
Please do not take this as a complete confirmation that ‘Thor’ Chris Hemsworth is on steroids. There is no evidence about it. But his physique and fast transformation surely suggest so.
So, the moral of the story is that taking steroids is not going to improve your physique magically. You still have to work for it. And Chris Hemsworth most certainly does.
