Vignette for the mixed tag match main event plays recapping all the madness that went down between Liv Morgan, Rusev, Lana and Bobby Lashley. Backstage, Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe being interviewed. Owens says Rollins and Buddy winning the tag titles is a problem that they will deal with in due time. Says that he too is entering the Royal Rumble and Joe does the same – they each want to ensure that Rollins will not win.
Promo with Mojo Rawley who tries to talk about how most 24/7 champs have been cowards. Bollywood Boyz interrupt, try to steal the title but he basically tears the both of them to pieces.
Lana and Lashley make their way out for the main. Lana again says that Rusev Day is cancelled but it gets tons of chants anyway. Lashley covers her ears as Lana says they’re trying to share their love with the world and no one cares. They have accepted the fact that everyone is jealous of their love. They’ve finally accepted that they’ll have to endure your ugliness and huddled masses of disgrace. Tries to demand a chant of “Thank You, Bobby” and “Thank You, Lana”. Revels in getting the chance to establish dominance over Rusev and Liv Morgan.
It’s 9:55 PM as I type this and this match has still not started yet. This gonna be a marathon.
Rusev & Liv Morgan vs. Bobby Lashley & Lana
Liv chases Lana to the apron who wants nothing to do with her. Gives chase around ringside, Lana baits her back in and double axe handles her in the back. Lana parades around claiming to be the best wrestler in the world. Liv explodes with a series of clotheslines, body block in the corner! Grabs her feet and pulls, Lana holding onto the bottom rope. Ref forces her to break, Lana with a roundhouse kick to the head for a nearfall. Snap suplex, cover for 2. Liv with a few slaps, double clothesline collision. Tag to Rusev, in comes Lashley as well, Rusev with a T-Bone Suplex! Corner avalanche into an Overhead Belly To Belly Suplex! Yells “Get up, Bob!” Lana on the apron to distract, Rusev evades a Lashley charge, has to stop himself from hitting her. Lana slaps Rusev though, Lashley gets a Gutwrench Slam kinda like a Dominator, Liv Morgan breaks it up. Lana comes in but gets thrown to the floor. Morgan clips Lashley from behind, Machka Kick from Rusev. Lana grabs Rusev’s leg for a distraction, Lashley tears through him with a spear for the win.
Winner: Bobby Lashley & Lana
That was one of the most nothing main events I’ve ever seen.
