‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some spoilery goodies and share them around.
We’re heading into previously many times charted territory as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will summon the Newmans to help bring is wayward daughter back into his fold.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) won’t like this, but free will was never a concern for Victor when he dons his caveman persona.
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will be looking to rekindle a fire and fast track some designs so they meet their new deadline, and it could lead to some interesting places.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, June 22: Another family rally
At some point, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers won’t be surprised if no one answers Victor’s summons anymore.
Until that day, he’s going to keep putting them out, and this one will be about helping Victoria once again.
Yep, Victor’s either not giving time for his new manipulation to work, or he just wants to flex some muscle and remind her that he’s the daddy and boss.
There could be an interesting angle here is Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) refuses to do his bidding. Nick will cite he promised Victoria he’ll let her live her life and if she needs him to contact him.
Victor won’t care and share every horrible scenario about Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) manipulating her to scare him into action.
This would be a great time for Nick to point out Victor’s describing himself, but he and the writers won’t do it. That would take nerve and they’d probably like it to stay subtle until Victor fully retires.
On the plus side, the writers have done a great job exposing Victor’s flaws and lack of growth over the last few months. All they need to do is have him cast out by his children so he can wake up and begin rebuilding his bonds with them while he’s not in power.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, June 22: Going home again
We’re set for Chelsea to dive into her past to help reload her drive and desire, and to do that we think she’ll go to her older designs.
They’ll give her a fresh starting point in some ways as she’ll be able to tweak and add to them to update them and bring a new freshness to them.
They should also theoretically help her crank out a bunch of them so she can meet the new deadline and get them produced and shipped out.
We’re excited to see how big a name she can make for herself now that she’s not focused on a hundred other things.
