Things are going to get very interesting for Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) before too long when word about him helping Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) gets back to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
It looks like the Newmans are going to have to learn to deal with their pawns having free will, and that’s going to be a fun battle to watch.

On a not so fun side of things, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan)’s going to learn Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose)’s dad is sick and possibly dying.
While that’s not good news on any occasion, we’re wondering if it’s going to make Imani more aggressive in what she wants?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thuesday, June, 23: Disturbing updates
This is going to be a tough scene as Imani updates Amanda that she heard about her dad. ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are thinking he’s going to be very sick or dying, hence the power behind her reveal.
Amanda will offer her support in any way she can, and it’ll be a great moment for the sisters to bond even more when they go to see Imani’s dad.
Even if they don’t and it all happens offscreen, we have a feeling it’s going to lead to Imani having a character shift of sorts.
She may view life as fragile and want to grab any and all happiness while she can. This won’t bode well for Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) as the gloves will come off in the pursuit of Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thuesday, June, 23: Michael’s crossing a line
As upset at Victor was with Michael talking common sense and decency to him about his daughter, he’s going to go through the roof when word gets back to him Michael will help Diane in any way.
We think it’ll be something simple like looking for a job, but that’ll cause Victor to come close to an aneurism, and if he doesn’t have one Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will.
While they have every right to be angry with Diane, Nikki’s instigated nearly all of their confrontations as of late, and Victor treats Genoa City as his kingdom, so things will become heated.
We have a feeling Michael will break away from Victor pretty soon, and it looks like Victor will be heading for a reckoning when everyone’s tired of his manipulations.
He could either be pushed aside or outright ousted and forced into retirement. It can be argued that it’s about time he stepped back, but that’s a storyline for another day.
