Conor McGregor is more of a public figure and a celebrity than a mixed martial artist lately. He behaves like an influencer and posts photos flashing his new ‘toys’ and luxurious parties, more than making some serious steps in his MMA career.
Recently, he stopped his yacht trip around the Monaco area, so he can return to his homeland to attend to this legal matter. He already has six existing driving offenses for which he already is charged, but many more may be coming his way.
Conor McGregor Charged With Six Motoring Offences – Faces Possible Further Charges
The Notorious does know how to make an impression. Wherever he goes he arrives with style and elegance. For this court hearing, he arrived in a black Rolls Royse all suited up with a three-piece navy suit. He parked his car in front of the Blanchardstown District Court and rushed inside.
While going on the path inundated with journalists, he refused to give any statement regarding his plead to the charges against him.
Shortly after Conor went inside the courtroom, the judge adjourned the case until September, while the Director of Public Prosecutions solves the case, and waits for possible further charges. This is not the first, and the court expects it not to be Conor’s last offense. Amongst other things, his charges include driving without a license and driving without insurance. Furthermore, failing to produce a certificate of insurance.
The Notorious has many cars and allegedly he does not pay close attention to the insurance and registration dates on them. Furthermore, he drives recklessly and doesn’t respect the speed limits.
When first arrested in March, while driving in his Bentley, he did not show any signs of using drugs or alcohol. He does it for pure fun.
“Mr. McGregor was driving to the gym when he was stopped by the police for alleged road traffic violations. He passed the drug and alcohol tests taken at the station.” – a spokesperson for the ex-UFC champion says.
At the moment the Notorious McGregor is recovering from an injury that he sustained at his last appearance in the octagon. While he fought Dustin Poirier, the Irishman got the ankle of his right leg broken. However, now after some period he is well and starts delivering powerful shots with his leg again.
Conor McGregor is very active on social media. Usually, he posts stuff about his days partying and enjoying his riches. But lately, he starts posting fighting-related posts as well. Rumors state that he will be back in the octagon later this year. He is willing to fight someone who holds a title.
Rumors state that a new McGregor against Floyd Mayweather fight might be ‘cooking’. The interest of the public in such a fight is considerably lower than before. However, it may still happen. Depending on the money it can generate.
