Everybody on the fighting scene is eager to see the Notorious Conor McGregor back in the octagon. After suffering an injury, he is expected to be back by the end of 2022, or the early beginning of 2023. Dana White breaks rumors of his return to boxing and ensures he’ll be back in UFC.
However, this is according to the UFC president Dana White. The person that back in 2017 informed the public more or less the same thing as now. And after that witnesses, a mega boxing match happening right before his eyes.

“Not me, I’m not talking about that.” – Dana White says while laughing when asked about the McGregor vs. Mayweather 2 rumors.. “Conor’s return will be in the cage. Conor’s looking to come back the end of this year, early next year.” – the UFC president says on The Jim Rome Show.
You might doubt the seriousness of the injury that Conor suffers at the UFC 264. But, keep in mind the fact only that the injury kept the Irishman away from the scene for about a year.
Conor’s return to UFC is about to be spectacular. He has been training very hard and looks more powerful than ever. Rumors start that he might even up one division and move to lightweight.
It is no secret that Conor is in pursuit of money. And who in the fighting industry isn’t? That’s why everybody wants to fight Conor upon his return. He brings the money in.
Conor McGregor wants to grasp as much as he can before his career is over. And the big money are in boxing. However, Dana White questions this. Furthermore, he is confident that Conor will not ‘betray’ him. He says that Conor is hungry for MMA fights and he will provide them to him as soon as the situation settles and McGregor is ready to go.
“When I do talk to Conor, Conor wants to fight.” – Dana white says. “Conor gets all kinds of offers for movie roles and all these other things that he could go and do and make money. He doesn’t want to do any of that. Conor wants to fight.”
It is true, Conor McGregor does have the money to live to the end of his life without any additional work. However, he indeed is hungry for more. He is the most paid fighter in the UFC history, and despite that, he constantly invests in businesses. Take his whiskey brand for example. Take the restaurant’s, and the list goes on.
