‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick off the Fourth of July holiday with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There are a lot of choices and decisions coming in this episode, and not all of them are going to have happy endings.
Or at least, they’re going to make things interesting for a couple of characters.

Since she arrived in Genoa City, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) has been trying to adapt and absorb so much off screen, which made her on screen appearances come across like she was mulling a huge life decision.
As she was, as there’s going to be the possibility of her staying in Genoa City and could even work at Jabot. Her decision on this is looming and may even come to fruition in this episode and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will play a huge part.
He’s the one that first met her and then opened the door for her to meet and learn about her family. It’s opened her to a whole new world, and his kindness and generosity will be key in Allie’s decision making.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, July 4: Tessa’s plans are derailed
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) was all set to jump into the next stage of her musical career, but the diagnosis of polyps on her vocal chords are going to wreak havoc with that.
It’s something that could ruin her voice and take away her dream or being a singer, but before that she’s going to have to deal with things like canceled shows, tours, and her band and grew not making any money.
Since she can’t perform, Tessa won’t be making that much either, and it’s going to really shake her at the prospect of being trapped by fate.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers: Spectacular backfire
Just when Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) thought she found a way to create a lasting peace between Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), things are going to go sideways.
Big surprise, we expect the problem to come from Phyllis as she won’t be able to handle her daughter being part of hiring Diane for a PR job.
It’s pretty amazing Phyllis managed to keep her cool this long, but her breaking point was going to be reached at some point, and Summer’s going to have to deal with the backlash when Phyllis goes nuclear.
