Hello and welcome to Impact Wrestling Results!
Tonight looks like it’s going to be a fun one with Honor No More facing the Bullet Club and Violent By Design taking on the Motor City Machine Guns and Josh Alexander.
Without further ado, let’s get to the action!
Before The Impact (BTI) – Johnny Swinger w/Zicky Dice vs. Bhupinder Gujjar
This should be a fun one just to see how long Swinger can last and what tricks he can pull out to get a Digital Media Championship shot.
Swinger went to the ropes after getting the worse of the first two lockups, and then he tried a wrist lock Gujjar reversed.
Gujjar hit a pair of dropkicks to send Swinger to the floor, then took out Dice with a crossbody over the top rope. Dice distracted Gujjar for Swinger to kick Gujjar to the floor for Dice to hit a suplex and then they double teamed him.
Swinger used his advantage as best he could with a few elbows for a pin attempt, but Gujjar fought back and hammered on Swinger.
After having a brief run, Swinger sidestepped a charge in the corner and hit a DDT for a near pinfall, but Gujjar wasn’t done and hit a slingblade and a Samoan drop for a near pinfall.
After throwing Swinger into Dice, Gujjar hit a powerslam and a Gargoyle Spear for the win. This was a better match than we expected. Nice job.
Violent By Design (Eric Young, Deaner, Joe Doering) vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley) and Josh Alexander
Eric Young didn’t accompany VBD to the ring and Deaner told Doering he hasn’t heard from him. Looks like this is a learning moment for them.
Deaner and Josh started it off, and that’s when Eric Young came out separate from the rest of Violent By Design.

The match got underway, and Josh reversed an armlock and Shelley tagged in to keep working on Deaner’s left arm. Sabin tagged in to join in on the fun.
Josh locked on an ankle lock but Deaner made it to the ropes to break the hold, and Young nailed Josh with a cheap shot and Doering tagged in and went to work on Josh.
Young finally tagged in and kicked Joh with Deaner for a pin attempt, and Doering tagged back in.

The MCMG got going as they double teamed Deaner, and fought off Dowering and Young to his a missile dropkick cutter combination for a near pinfall on Deaner.
Young and Josh faced off and they caught each other with clotheslines and then exchanged rights.
After the took Shelley down, Deaner tagged in and was given a chance to prove it to Young, and the Guns took him out with a classic double team and Young ate stereo superkicks.
Josh sent Doering to the floor, and Shelley locked in Deaner in a crossface while Josh locked Young in an ankle lock.
After the match, Sabin handed Josh his title belt, but he held onto it a few seconds too long and he and Shelley eyed the title.
Steve Macklin vs. James Storm
Macklin took the early advantage with some heavy blows, but Storm wasn’t having it and fought back and tossed Macklin across the ring, then hit a slingblade.
Macklin headed to the floor to avoid a Last Call.

The ref tried to break them up and Macklin poked Storm in the eye to get the advantage and quickly went to work on him.
Storm fired up and went after Macklin and dropped him with a right, then hit a neckbreaker off the ropes for a near pinfall.
Macklin fought back and hit a Caught in the Crosshairs for a near pinfall, but Storm fought ouot of a Mayhem for All and went for a Eye of the Storm. But Macklin slipped free.
Macklin ripped off the turnbuckle pad and sent Storm into it, then hit a DDT for the win.

After the match, the lights went out and Sami Callihan appeared in the ring, but Macklin was ready and was on the top of the ramp. Sami will make him pay for that when they meet up.
