Amber is fully aware of Kanye, as the pair just so happened to have dated each other for 2 years from 2008-10.
And given that their relationship ultimately broke down, Amber was in the best position to judge whether or not Kanye could have succeeded with Kim.
And one particular factor that Amber touched upon was the difference between her and Kim’s upbringing. Amber came from a poor background in Philadelphia, while Kim was born into a life of privilege.
After all, Kim’s late father Robert Kardashian happened to be one of the most well-known attorneys out there. And given what Amber had seen, she was not shocked that they parted ways.
In an interview on the “It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper” show, Amber said: “Of course [I saw it coming]. I always hoped for the best for people to be happy.
“I had my own issues and feelings, how I felt about our relationship was.” Nevertheless, Amber had nothing but positive words to say about the pair.
She ultimately wanted to see them move on in the best possible way. And this can only benefit the children involved, as Kim and Kanye do share four kids: North, Chicago, Psalm and Saint.
Amber’s following comments confirmed as much: “I always hoped for the best for them. I never really had any ill feelings like I hope they get divorced, or he’s going to get his day.”
The fans on social media, though, could not help but feel that Amber’s comments were meant at shading Kanye. After all, her words implied that Kanye could not hold down a relationship. One person wrote: “Amber Rose’s clapback to Kanye.”
