Senator Chuck Grassley claims that the FBI is covering up the dirt on Hunter Biden’s name. The alleged criminal activity of the president’s son is so broad, that the FBI needs to launch a special campaign to discredit the negative information about him.
Grassley’s accusations did not stay only in verbal form, but on Monday, the 25th of July, he wrote a letter to the FBI director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland putting it into written form as well. In the letter, he states that he has information on the covering up of information for Hunter Biden, coming from his contacts within the agency. As he states, the information comes from ‘high-rank whistleblowers’ in the FBI. According to the letter, the cover-up came in the period before the 2020 elections.

Senator Chuch Grassley says that it had come to a boiling point. The allegations of the cover-up are so voluminous and numerous that they cannot be ignored. “The volume and consistency of these allegations substantiate their credibility and necessitate this letter.” – he states. Due to this, he feels that both Garland and Wray need to provide documentation and records on the case and let Congress perform a review. Congress, being independent on the case, might make the best decision on whether this is true, or not.
There had been investigations and monitoring of Biden’s activities ever since 2018. There is evidence suggesting Hunter Biden’s involvement in money laundering in offshore countries. Furthermore, there are claims that he has violated US tax law. All this, while his father had been a vice president. Now, when Joe is the President of the United States, it all continues in the ‘shadows’.
“If these allegations are true and accurate, the Justice Department and FBI are – and have been – institutionally corrupted to their very core to the point in which the United States Congress and the American people will have no confidence in the equal application of the law.” – the letter continues.
To be more convincing, the letter includes the names of two specific FBI agents. The FBI Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Austen and Assistant Special Agent in Charge Timothy Thibault. Both of them collaborated on the case and helped ‘hide’ the negative information on Hunter Biden.
Brian Austen takes the blame for opening an assessment to label all negative information on Hunter Biden as misinformation. This action caused the whole investigative activity to cease. Timothy Thibault on the other hand has ordered the closing of the matter with no valid reason provided by the FBI.
And just like that, the information on Hunter Biden remains locked in some locker in the FBI headquarters. Will the Senator’s activity on the matter dig it up once more? It remains to just wait and see it play out.
