The UFC star TJ Dillashaw has the guts to comment on Paddy Pimblett’s unhealthy weight gains. He states that the difference in weight will be a problem for him to take on short-notice fights in the UFC.
Paddy The Baddy Pimblett on the other hand is aware of this passion for food that he has. He declares himself as a ‘foodie’, a person that can’t function without stuffing himself with caloric food.
The Cheater TJ Dillashaw Comments On Paddy Pimblett’s Weight Gains Between Fights
A proof of this passion of his is the moment when he put about 20kg in just two weeks. He fought and won over Kazula Vargas in March, and just 2 weeks after that he looked like a deformed picture of Paddy Pimblett we know. He says that he goes on an 11 000 calorie diet and eats everything that he can get his hands on. Doughnuts, chocolate, crisps, fries, burgers, fat-rich foods, he doesn’t choose at all.
A week has gone by after Pimblett destroyed and submissioned Jordan Leavitt at the UFC London event. And still, there is no information from him whether he is already on his weight train to obesity.
TJ Dillashaw is very vocal when it comes to criticizing overweight fighters. He says that Paddy’s unhealthy eating habits will do nothing more than make him unable to accept any short-notice fights.
“When you’re coming up in the UFC, you should be able to take fights on a week’s notice. Right after I fought, seven days apart I fought a fight when I was coming into the UFC because I was always in the gym, always getting better. I was ready.” – TJ Dillashaw says for the MMA hour.
“If you balloon up 30-40 pounds, how can you take a fight that fast? You’re obviously not in the gym. You’re out living life, getting fat eating ad drinking. I know how these fight camps go and you want to let loose.” – he adds.
TJ Dillashaw is the person that should remain as silent as possible at the moment and look in his own yard. He is currently on a three-year ban from competing in the UFC due to a positive drug test. He was taking performance-enhancing drugs up until 2019 when USADA caught him.
Pimblett didn’t waste the chance to refer to the ex-UFC champion as a ‘cheating juice head’ after he heard his comments on his weight.
Paddy Pimblett is aware of his unhealthy habits. He even is at peace with the fact that he may become a diabetic after his retirement. He says that when he will retire the only way his eating habits can go is to get worse. For this he gets criticism from numerous UFC fighters, it’s not Dillashaw only. However, he seems not to give a damn about it.
“He’s loving diabetes. That’s like a recipe for just destroying your body. I guess there’s one thing if I’m looking at it. I’m not trying to clown on him but that’s something he’s going to have to figure out with age, right? He’s young and this is a full-time job. This isn’t a job where you want to be a fighter. You have to be a fighter.” – Dillashaw adds on The Schaub Show when asked on the matter.
