Kevin Owens Rebooted and Teaming with Sami Zayn. One of the refreshing things we’ve noticed since Triple H took over WWE Creative is how some wrestlers are having their character rebooted, and with Triple H having an open door it seems it’s with the wrestlers’ blessing and input.
What makes it even better if how it’s happening with a smooth transition from their previous persona to the new, or in some cases, the old one. It’s not going from one week being a heel and doing a 180 in seven days.
Kevin Owens Rebooted; Will he Team with Sami Zayn?
That’s how Kevin Owens’ transition was handled as he went from a heel to, well, a heel. After he attacked Ezekiel and injured him so he can be repackaged, Owens said he knows who he is and threatened the interviewer before walking off.
Owens transitioned into his NXT character where he was ruthless and unstoppable, and it’s going to make for some interesting story telling.
It looks like Ezekiel is going to be getting to be getting a reboot as well since that’s generally why someone’s written off TV unless they have an outside reason.
In this case, we’re curious if he’ll return as a more serious Ezekiel or if Elias will return. Maybe there’s a third option out there for him and he can return looking for retribution.
Until then Owens will need something to do and we think he have the perfect idea for him
Sami cast aside by the Bloodline
On August 5th’s Smackdown episode, Sami Zayn was unceremoniously informed by the Usos that he has to pull his weight or lost the Bloodline shirt and his honorary status.
The Usos indicated he needs to add a championship to remain, and the first possibility is the Intercontinental Championship on Smackdown, but that’s not going to happen any time soon.
One of the ways Zayn could prove himself is by challenging the Usos for the undisputed tag titles, but he needs a partner.
This would be a great time for him to reach out to Owens and form a team together. It’d be a great chance for the two of them to get a title shot together and they could really ramp up the heel factor in the tag division.
It’ll give Sami the chance to prove he belongs with the Bloodline, even if they won’t appreciate him coming for their titles to replace them.
It’d make sense if Reigns’ run is coming to an end soon as the Bloodline could break up or turn face since every notable heel is chasing after them.
