Things are going to get interesting in Genoa City as conniving plans continue to move forward and we’re sure they’re going to end in spectacular fashion.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 15: Victor tries to impose himself
If there’s one thing Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) doesn’t like is not getting his way, and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) doesn’t appear ready to give into his demands.
But Victor is stubborn and prideful, so he’s going to continue trying to press the necessity for Chance to drop his investigation so he can play the family hero.

He’ll stand by the fact Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) walked to his care and had an accident, and when Chance doesn’t budge, he’ll point out Chance is hurting his own family by pursuing this.
Chance will admit that’s a concern of his, but so is letting a case open that has a lot of questions left. He knows who’s responsible and it’s only a matter of time until he gathers enough to make a case.
This will be an interesting back and forth as Victor will also be searching for any other information Chance has while trying to get his way, and we have no doubt Chance will keep it close to the vest.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 15: Phyllis is in motion
Now that she’s managed to worm her way into Marchetti, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will begin to set her plan into motion.
What she has in store for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is still in question, but CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers suspect she’ll set it up in a way that’ll make any defense Diane offers will make it look like Diane’s trying to frame Phyllis.
It would be tricky, but Phyllis is good enough to make it work and sell it. There’s just one problem with it we can see — Phyllis’ plans always blow up and nearly always backfire.
Adding in the fact Phyllis starts working there and Diane all of a sudden makes a mistake will be super suspicious, and that’s where arranging it so it looks like Diane’s trying to frame her comes into play.
Will Phyllis think that far ahead or will her trap end up trapping herself? Plus, we can’t forget about Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) not liking this plan, and when it starts to happen she may speak up and sink Phyllis as well.
We’re grabbing tons of popcorn for this one.
