WWE Monday Night Raw continues with our main event! A triple threat match pitting Seth Rollins vs. Ricochet vs. Bobby Lashley! The winner will go to Super Show-Down to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship! But first, we hear that Charlotte Flair will be appearing on NXT in two nights to answer Rhea Ripley’s challenge!
Seth Rollins makes his way out first and grabs a microphone. He congratulates Buddy Murphy and AOP on their victory earlier tonight. But now it’s his time to once again dethrone Brock Lesnar. Boos. Rollins says it’s interesting, he made the same promise last year and got a completely different response from the crowd. He won the Universal Championship from Brock last year and defended it all across the world and came back expecting a hero’s welcome but he got crucified for it. Says he doesn’t hate them for it, he’s here to say thank you. It’s because of all of us that he has become the man he is today, this man that he’s so proud of.
He’s going to dethrone Brock Lesnar once again but this time it won’t be for him, for all of them, but for the greater good, something they cannot begin to understand. In a hundred years, he will go down as the man who saved this industry! Drew McIntyre will not go into WrestleMania facing the Beast, he will be facing the Monday Night Messiah!
Seth Rollins vs. Ricochet vs. Bobby Lashley
Bell rings, RIcochet ducks a Rollins clothesline and batters him. Escapes a double team, arm drag to Rollins, deposits Lashley, roll-up, kickout, Rollins catches a kick, Ric back flips out of his grasp, throws him from the ring, hits the ropes and Lashley clips his legs! Seth Rollins with a slingblade! Knocks Lashley off the apron, charges Ric with a forearm, snapmare, cover for a quick kickout. Whips him to the corner, charges, back body drop takes him to the apron. Springboard Knee, Ric rolls out of the way, Lashley from the apron with a shoulder block. Combination Neckbreaker/DDT on Ric and Rollins! Clotheslines Rollins to the floor.
Ric kicks Lashley away, Rolling Liger Kick takes him to the floor, Tope to Lashley! Corkscrew Tope to Rollins! Throws him into the ring. To the top rope, Buddy Murphy comes out to dump him to the floor! AOP out as well, battering Lashley and throwing him into the barrier. Buddy in the ring with a forearm to the face of Ricochet.
But Kevin Owens’ music hits!
Buddy comes to the stage to intercept but he takes him out with a forearm! And Erik in the ring to deal with AOP! (Ivar still selling the injury.) Owens in to help him out, superkick! Owens and Erik with chairs to take out Rollins’ backup, they fight through the crowd! Commercial break. We come back, Ricochet gets caught with a dropkick out of the air. Ric and Rollisn fight to their feet, exchange of punches. Ricochet hits the ropes but Lashley comes in to lay him out! Spinebuster to Rollins! Clothesline to Rollins, shoulder thrust to the gut! Pulls him to the middle of the ring for a suplex, Ricochet stops that with a Springboard Crossbody! Whips Rollins, reversed, forearm takes him down! Springboard Clothesline! Running Shooting Star Press, Lashley breaks up the pin!
Bobby Lashley with a Military Press, Ricochet escapes. Charges but eats a One Handed Spinebuster! One Handed Facebuster to Rollins for a nearfall! Charges, Rollins with a back elbow out of the corner, Blockbuster from the second rope, Ric breaks it up! Him and Seth fight their way up, Ricochet hits the ropes, Seth hoists him up, Buckle Bomb! Rollins up top, Ric with an enziguri stops him cold! Goes up top to hook him for a superplex, Lashley joins them! Tower Spot, Rollins crashes into the mat! Tired “This Is Awesome” chant, Ricochet kicks Lashley to the mat, up top – 630 nailed! And that is that.
Winner: Ricochet
That’s the expected finish but seemed VERY abrupt, wonder if there was a timing issue. This would also explain how a split second after getting the pin, in comes Brock Lesnar to lay Ricochet out with an F-5! And we are off the air on that note.
