‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers are all set to dive into the first episode of a new week, and we have plenty of spoilery goodies to share as well.
This episode is going to have some fun moments as the best laid plans tend to go sideways in Salem pretty quickly, and two best friends are going to rat out each other to save their own hides.
Nothing like compassion all around, right?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Monday, August 22: Needs some work
Whelp, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Warton) did warn Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) that emotions weren’t his area of expertise and he would do his best.
Unfortunately, it looks like his best won’t be good enough as Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barish) will wake up, but he’s going to be intent on seeing his wife.
And here’s the kicker. ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers doesn’t think he means Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus), but Gabby, Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller)’s alternate personality.
If we’re right, things are going to go far more than just sideways given Stefan embodies all the worst characteristics of his family with a few good moments here and there.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Monday, August 22: Spreading the blame
One of the great things about besties is sharing everything, but when it comes to murder, blame is the last thing they share.
As such, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will tell Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) her version of events and that she fell asleep in a corner of the prison library.
Rafe has a pretty good lie detector in him and he may smell something off, but will it be enough for him to arrest her without a way for her to have escaped prison?
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will be doing much the same with his lawyer Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty), and we think he’s going to tell her he found Gwen’s Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) mask in the garbage bin after she dumped it and that he suspected her.
He’ll leave out that he was in the bathroom and may have heard or seen something, since that’ll get him in more hot water. Or Sloan will tell him to not tell anyone else about that if he does.
To be honest, we don’t think Leo or Gwen killed Abigail, but Gwen may have intended to until she saw the body and ran out like has been established.
Who does this leave? We’re going with a pretty cool fan theory that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) did it after he heard about Abigail digging around and was afraid she’d discover his secret.
