‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some spoilery goodies to help keep things rolling.
There’s going to be some interesting developments as the article focusing on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)’s past came out and now a whole new generation of people will know about her past.
More than that, it’s going to hinder her job at Marchetti as it’ll scare clients off and effectively hurt them and Jabot.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, September 1: Phyllis’ victory strut
If there’s one thing Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) loves, it’s getting even and doing as much damage as possible. In this case, she’s going to wreck Diane’s career and create a headache for her daughter and son-in-law at Marchetti.
Until the fallout hits the fan, she’s going to be extremely happy and pleased to give Diana a healthy shove toward imploding.
Of course, she’ll play innocent but everyone will know she had something to do with it, and she’s going to have to face some questions and accusations from Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Not to mention she effectively ruined her relationship with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), but she’ll happily accept the crown of a martyr in her own mind for doing what needed to be done.
Characters in soap operas really don’t like giving second chances, and Phyllis may have run out of hers.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, September 1: Chloe’s challenge
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) has never been a fan of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and it looks like she’s going to hand out a challenge to him.
Since he emotionally wrecked two of her friends by breaking their hearts, she’ll have an axe to grind. But she does have a kind heart and she may show him some mercy after she rips into him some.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expects her to lay out a challenge for Adam to continue working to move past his old habits and not ruin this chance Jack’s given him.
He’ll say he has no intention of stabbing Jack in the back, but it looks like he may have his eyes set on replacing Jack when the time is right. It doesn’t mean he’s planning anything, but the writers will come up with something.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, September 1: Piece of her mind
Speaking of writers, Diane will spot the author of the hit piece, er, expose of her previous antics, Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) at a table.
This is going to be a fun scene as Diane may give her a glimpse into the woman she used to be, but it’d be more entertaining if she turns it around and spills about Phyllis and maybe even Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
This has some potential and we’re looking forward to how it plays out.
