There’s going to be plenty of juicy drama in this episode and it looks like we called it when we said the expose would backfire for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and we’re looking forward to see the extent of the backlash.

But there’s also some secrets being kept as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be keeping something from Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) receives a cryptic message.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, September 5: Egg on their faces
This is where things are going to get interesting for us as we love seeing people get their just desserts in some fashion, and this promises to have some really fun moments.
As the new mean girls on the block have done everything they can to scoop the dirt on Diane’s past, their efforts are only going to come back to bite them.
We’re guessing Jabot will be affected as clients will be wary about continuing to do business with them and new ones will drop out of potential deals.
Basically, everything Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) didn’t want to happen but it did anyway. Worse yet, this wasn’t part of Phyllis’ plan and she’s going to shoulder most of the blame.
Not only will this infuriate Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), but it’ll also sent Summer on the defensive as they’ll be defensive of Diane while ripping into Phyllis for harming their company.
No matter what she tries, Phyllis can never avoid collateral damage.
On the flip side, this will give someone, we think it’ll be Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), will send Diane a cryptic message about leaving town or else.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, September 5: to protect Summer
The backlash against Nikki and Phyllis may play into this scene as ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think Kyle will want to tell Summers about Jack hiring Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for his old position, but he’ll see she’s dealing with the expose article and will keep it to himself for now.
It makes sense as we expect Summer will be torn between rending her mom and Nikki and blaming Kyle for hiring Diane because she’s his mom. Never mind neither of them would be out of the mail room if it wasn’t for family and friend ties.
Summer has every right to be upset at everyone, and if Kyle wants to keep his head keeping to himself will be best.
