Impact Wrestling Results returned as Mickie James’ final rodeo started off.
After Mickie started out with a wrist lock, Raychel took over and nailed a kick while Mickie was draped over the ropes for a pin attempt.
Mickie hit a Lou Thez press off the top rope for a near pinfall, and followed it with a superkick and a Mick DT for the win.

This was a fun one as she helped Raychel look good while keeping her final rodeo alive.
We’re looking forward to seeing how far Mickie will go until she loses and retires. We’d love to see her win the Knockouts Championship, but we have a feeling it’ll be a heartbreaker as she’ll get so close.
Until then, we expect her to put over everyone she faces.
Backstage, Scott D’Amore and Mia Yim were talking when Kenny King interrupted and told her to get out to let them talk and after she left King cried about him not winning his title last week.
Scott pointed out it wasn’t logical but it’s a beef, and Scott pointed out that train’s left the station and next week he’ll make an announcement he’ll be happy with.
After more whining, Scott made him in a match next against Yuya Uemura.
Gia asked Steve Macklin what’s the truth with him and Moose, and he said he’s giving Moose something to think about and that’s it despite them teaming up to face Decay next week.
Kenny King vs. Yuya Uemura
King started if off by taking him down and dusting his hair to a chorus of boos.
Yuya and King traded shoulder blocks, and Uemura gained the upper hand until King used the ref to shield him as he pulled Uemura off the top rope.

Uemura put on a great display as he came close a couple of times, then fought out of a Royal Flush and King sent him to the floor.
Mia Yim came out and kept King from getting the win by pushing his feet off the ropes during a pin attempt and then nailed him with a step up kick when King grabbed her.
Uemura hit a crossbody off the top rope for the win in an impressive debut.
Elsewhere, Deaner followed Eric Young and answered the essence of the design is violence and a dozen more joined their cause.
This could be the start of a new Violent By Design with plenty of disciples at Young’s fingertips to help as needed. Things are going to get very interesting in Impact Wrestling.
