Jake Paul is in a dispute with Dana White over many things. One of them is the fact that they ‘verbally agreed on a $1 million bet’ when the ‘Problem child’ was fighting Ben Askren. Dana White ‘bet him $1 million and still hasn’t paid him.
Now, since Jake Paul is about to face Anderson Silva in October, he suggests to Dana White to up the wager to $5 million.
Jake Paul Dares Dana White To Put $5 Million On Anderson Silva Fight
Dana White came out with a comment on the fight, stating that Jake Paul has got himself a ‘real fighter’ as an opponent now. He doubted Jake’s skills and says that Silva has the potential to destroy him.
The ‘call out’ happened during the news conference that Anderson Silva held with Jake Paul in LA on Monday. Paul addressed Dana White for the comments and asked him to prove that he is 100% sure in his predictions by putting $5 million on the fight.
“Dana White did not think I’d take this fight.” – Jake addressed the UFC President. “And Dana, I know you’re watching, bro. You still owe me a million dollars from when you bet against me on Ben Askren.”
“I want you to come out of hiding, stop being a bitch and make a bet against me and Anderson and actually pay up this time because you didn’t think I would take this fight. So let’s make a bet.” – Jake added. “Let’s put a mil, let’s put two mil, let’s put 5 mil on it. But I bet you won’t, Dana because you’re a bitch.”
Anderson Silva is one of the greatest fighters that ever entered the UFC octagon. He is on Dana White’s list of all-time greats and he is most certainly more experienced than Jake Paul. Silva is also the betting favorite of the bout and enters with a -140 into the fight. For those unfamiliar with boxing betting, you need to put up $140 in order to win $100.
Jake Paul had a bet for Anderson Silva as well. He was willing to bet the UFC star a tattoo if he wins the bout. Meaning one of them will need to get the name of the other inked on him. However, since Silva is not a fan of tattoos he turned down the offer.
As for Dana White, it is highly unlikely that he will respond to the bet offer. During an interview a few weeks ago he told reporters that ‘he is sick of talking about the guy’ referring to Jake Paul.
