Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley have been remaining steady as a tag team in WWE, and tonight have their biggest test yet. They will meet former two time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions with Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne in tag team action. This could well be a sink or swim moment for Nile & Paxley, and could be a much needed win for Diamond Mine.
Speaking of Diamond Mine, we’d hear more from Damon Kemp – and his carefully laid plans to tear the faction down within. He’s more than willing to take down The Creed Brothers again, but not two on one. Kemp will take either Brutus or Julius in the ring next week – with the other in the back.
Toxic Attraction Claims Yet Another Tag Team Win
With NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose in their corner – it’s hard to bet against Toxic Attraction. However, Ivy Nile was pissed off over what Damon Kemp pulled – but she intended to focus that out onto her opponents tonight. Paxley would choose to start the match, and would take Dolin down with a dropkick.
Dolin would hit a lariat before tagging Jayne in, who nailed a running senton. The hammerlock would be applied in the middle of the ring, before Paxley would fight free. A forearm to the jaw would land, but Nile would get the tag and would kick Jayne in the face. Running dropkick in the corner would follow, before a single underhook suplex for a two count.
Paxley would rush into the ring to try and keep Dolin at bay, but took a backdrop driver. Nile would take a codebreaker, before the High/Low kick combo from Toxic Attraction – which was enough to keep a troubled Ivy Nile down. Toxic Attraction have put the women’s division back on notice.
Schism Is Done Giving Chances To Cameron Grimes
Last week on NXT 2.0, there was a brawl in the parking lot between Edris Enofe, Malik Blade & The Dyad. There was nobody suspended or leaving with a torn tricep, instead they will meet in the ring for a tag team match. While The Dyad have a new outlook on life, they’re the team previously known as Grizzled Young Veterans – and are as dangerous as a tag team gets. Before locking up, Gacy & The Dyad made it clear that it’s now join them or get hurt – and Cameron Grimes was called out for a match next week.
Fowler would start the match with Blade, who would hit the big dropkick. Enofe would get the tag and hit the flying lariat for a two count. Reid would get the tag and was sent to the floor, before Blade would soar down onto both members of The Dyad. After a commercial break, Blade was caught with a double team backbreaker on the floor.
Reid would hit some heavy forearm smashes in the ring – before Blade was able to complete the tag. Enofe would hit some quick strikes and a reverse slingblade, getting a two count. Fowler would take a spinebuster and standing legdrop combo, but was able to kick out. Enofe would nearly steal the win, before taking a step up Destroyer and Ticket to Mayhem for the win.
