In Sister Wives season 17, Mykelti Christine Brown’s daughter talked about her experience as a live-in nanny for Robyn Brown. She was 13-year-old then. She spoke about her special bond with Robyn and her children because of that time with them.
Robyn said, “I adore Mykelti. She came to live with me before I married Kody. And so we have a really close bond,” while Christine has this to say, “Robyn and Mykelti have a very, very special bond. When Robyn came into the family, she immediately just embraced Mykelti. And I will always love and respect Robyn for her relationship with Mykelti.”
13-Year-Old Mykelti Was A Live-In Nanny For Robyn Before She Married Kody
In the new episode, Mykelti talked about some interesting new information. In 2010, she moved in with Robyn as a live-in nanny before she got married to Kody. She explains, “I moved in with Robyn when my dad and Robyn were first courting. Because she needed some help with the kids for school, around the house. So I lived with her for a few months. And that’s why I’m still so close to Robyn and her kids.
It’s because of just the special time that just us has together.” Fans will recall that Kody started courting Robyn in 2010, which implies that Mykelti was around 13 years old when she lived with Robyn. Mykelti was helping her babysit her three children then.
Mykelti wanted Robyn’s presence at Avalon’s birth due to the bond they shared. However, Robyn couldn’t travel due to Covid. She told the cameras, “Mykelti has invited me to the baby’s birth. I am kind of trying to figure out if there’s a way that I can go. We’re still dealing with this COVID crap. And so I’m trying to work it out right now. “
Eventually, Robyn decided to remain in Flagstaff and support Mykelti via video call. Robyn was there for her all through the long hours of labor via zoom call. During the difficult part of the birth, Robyn had a hard time watching Mykelti in pain. “Mykelti is my baby. And I know that she’s Christine’s baby first. But she is my baby. And it’s hard to see you’re your baby in pain.”
