Varya Malina recently revealed why she was crying in a selfie she previously posted on Instagram that caused fans to worry.
Varya’s partner, Geoffrey was arrested for domestic violence against an ex-girlfriend and sent to jail. She has, however, stood by him through thick and thin, despite the intense hostility they’ve received online. Varya, of 90 Days, revealed that she and her fiancé had relocated halfway across the world for each other, only to find themselves “separated” for nearly a year. The remaining parts of Varya’s Instagram Stories provided more insight into her emotional state. “My country started a cruel war and became an outcast.” she penned. She shared a photo of herself, her mother, and her brother Geoffrey to let fans know that her brother currently serves in the Army reserves. She said, “The only reason he wasn’t drafted is his job.”
Varya’s subsequent two Instagram Stories were heartbreaking because she shared the news that one of their pets, Havoc, had passed away. Varya revealed to her Instagram fans that her 90-Day Fiancé co-star Geoffrey could not say goodbye to their pet dog. She also believes the dog has at least two more years ahead. She said the vet did not do enough to save him.
Fans were surprised when Varya defended Geoffrey after he was convicted of abusing his ex-girlfriend. Even though Geoffrey was given an 18-year life sentence with no chance of parole, he and Varya apparently had wedding plans. While the man maintains his innocence during his nearly two-decade term, his wife has been under stress about the prospect of losing him.
Geoffrey, the man of “90 Day Fiancé,” will be 61 years old when he gets released from prison. News outlets say that Geoffrey has retained fresh Knoxville-based criminal defense attorneys who assisted him in submitting an appeal notice. Recently, for Geoffrey’s 45th birthday, Varya celebrated by making a nostalgic Instagram video in which they reminisced about their time together.
Even though Geoffrey is a convicted felon, fans of 90 Day Fiancé in Varya’s comments hope that she and Geoffrey will reunite. Her online persona of stress and hurt suggests to his followers that her dedication to him is paying off.
