Meghan Markle reportedly rejected Prince William’s help, so that she could settle into royal life.
Meghan Markle Rejected Prince William’s Help Which Would Have Allowed Her To Settle Into Royal Family-Says Royal Author Valentine Low
That is according to royal author Valentine Low in his book entitled: ‘Courtiers: the Hidden Power Behind the Crown.’
During the course of her controversial Oprah Winfrey interview, Meghan made it very clear that she did not know a lot about the Royal Family prior to marrying Prince Harry.
Therefore, If this was taken to be true, it would have made sense for her to have received as much help as possible. And as part of that process, it is claimed that William offered the services of his own private secretary in order to aid the transition.
This included getting the help of none other than Miguel Head (private secretary). But when it came to actually doing that, it appears that Megan was not so keen.
In his comments, Valentine said: “And in that meeting, he [Miguel] said…Let’s talk about how we do this. You might want to carry on acting, you might want to work somehow in the industry.
“Let’s have a dialogue.’And Meghan said no, ‘I want to support my husband,’ so on and so forth.” This is not the first time that Meghan has faced an accusation like this.
Further reports have stressed that Meghan rejected any help from Queen Concert Camilla too. This may explain Meghan’s prior comments which stated that ambition was only viewed negatively once she began dating Harry.
After all, there appeared to be a conflict between Meghan maintaining individuality, as well as having to balance the duties that the firm would require. The sentiment on social media was much the same.
And in the process, people bashed Meghan’s tendency to be ungrateful with the help that was apparently on offer. One person wrote: “The Princess of Wales tried to help her and she never stopped attacking the Princess of Wales since.”
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
