Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has no idea why Conor McGregor is so annoyed with him. Bisping’s beef with Conor McGregor seems to stem not from some longstanding British-Irish rivalry, but for Bisping’s foray into acting – just like Conor McGregor.
Bisping called McGregor a “d*ckhead” on his podcast, and Conor McGregor left Bisping a downright creepy voice note. In the most recent episode of his Believe You Me podcast, Michael Bisping addressed the issue, advising Conor McGregor to “relax”.
Bisping Fires Back at Vile McGregor Spat: “Relax, Buddy”
“If you watched the show, we were having a laugh. It’s a f****** joke, obviously, there was no threats on my end whatsoever. But he kind of flipped a lid, didn’t he? He lost his mind. Anyway, Conor, relax buddy. Jesus goddamn Christ. There you go.”
McGregor’s voice note, sent alongside a deluge of since-deleted Tweets, included threats like “I’ll cave your head in” and “do you want to go to war”. “Bisping you’ll do f*** all. You little sprinter. I’ll cave your head in. S*** fighter, s*** actor. Sirius XM head.
Ya’s’ll see when ya’s see me. Who’ll do what and who’ll need what. We will see. Do you want to go to war, man, yeah? Do you want to go to f****** war? We’ll go to war with you, yeah?
Security. You little sausage of a thing. I’ll have security set you up, when you’re in Vegas again, pal. Keep my name out of your f****** mouth again or any type of threatening behavior, or I’ll walk through your front door.
You little dope. Back where you belong, you little clown, you little sprinter.” Michael Bisping pointed out that he’d be hard pressed to keep Conor McGregor’s name out of this mouth considering his line of work.
“I’ve been told to keep his name out of my f****** mouth. How the f*** can I do that? I can’t do that. I talk about MMA and he’s the biggest star in MMA. When you become a star of that magnitude, people are going to talk.
He took a shot about my acting work, and we had a laugh about it on the podcast. But that’s what happens when you get older. You learn to turn the other cheek.”
Although Michael Bisping no longer competes in MMA, Conor McGregor still claims that he’ll return to the Octagon soon. In the meantime, “The Notorious” is set to appear in a remake of Roadhouse.
