Ever since Karrion Kross has returned to WWE, he’s been focused on taking Drew McIntyre down. It’s a quick way to get to the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, beating a top contender. However, it’s harder than Kross thought to take McIntyre down, and tonight they will meet in the always dangerous Strap match. Thirteen feet of leather will attach these two violent men – and carnage will follow. There’s nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and no excuses to be made.
Karrion Kross Eludes The Strap
Kross would show some reluctance in attaching the strap to himself, instead attacking McIntyre before the bell. Going to the floor, McIntyre would be driven face first off the ring post – before it went into the crowd. They’d go blow for blow, but Kross remained in control. Back to ringside, Kross would look for a suplex onto the steel steps, but McIntyre would be able to block before hitting a suplex of his own.
Kross would be slammed face first off the steps, before a side buster right onto the apron (the hardest part of the ring, don’t ya know?). These two would finally be attached to each other as McIntyre put the strap on the wrist of Kross, and the bell would ring – making this one official. McIntyre would make good use of that strap, whipping the back of Kross as he tried to flee. He’d tell Kross to “Fall and Pray for me, bitch” as the whipping continues.
Scarlett would run a distraction, allowing Kross to yank McIntyre into the ring post shoulder first twice. Kross would weaken that shoulder last night on Smackdown Live, and knows his mark tonight. McIntyre would be dragged into the ring, where Kross would hit a shoulder breaker. Kross Jacket would be attempted, but McIntyre fought free – before being lashed across the chest with the strap.
Drew McIntyre Gets Pepper Sprayed
McIntyre would be dragged out to the floor, and a shoulder breaker onto the announce desk would land. We’d see McIntyre practically tied to the ring post, as Kross would whip away time and time again. Scarlett would ask for more and more, and McIntyre was a lifeless blob on the floor. In the ring the Doomsday Saito would land, getting Kross a two count.
More whips from the strap would follow – before McIntyre would find his feet for two lariats and a Belly To Belly suplex. Neckbreaker would land, before McIntyre sprung to his feet, and set up the Future Shock DDT. Kross was able to counter, but would be planted with a spinebuster for a two count. Both men hit their feet and exchanged strikes in the middle of the ring, before using the strap.
Kross was caught on the ear with the strap and was rocked – before McIntyre would hit the Future Shock DDT. Scarlett would be a human shield between McIntyre and Kross, before getting him with Pepper Spray. Blinded, Kross would hit the Kross Hammer for the victory.
