Kim Kardashian is reportedly keeping her distance from Kanye West amid his public antics.
Kim Kardashian Distancing Herself From Kanye West
The rapper has found himself embroiled in a social media controversy which has no doubt affected his co-parenting relations with Kim. The rapper’s White Lives Matter top was followed up by a post that was deemed anti-Semitic in nature.
In addition, Kanye has also called out Kim by making it absolutely clear that he had reservations about her Skims brand on the basis that it was over sexualised. Thus, it appears that Kim has not spoken to Kanye which has only exacerbated things.
A source confirmed the following: “Kim has totally removed herself from the situation with Kanye … and hasn’t spoken directly to him in weeks.
“We’re told in times past, even when Kim and her family were the targets of his attacks — she’d be there to help him until he was mentally sound again.”
This approach has been seen when the pair have co-parented for the sake of their kids. During a recent appearance at their daughter, North’s basketball game, Kanye was in the crowd supporting her.
Meanwhile, Kim was seated a few chairs away, as it appeared that she wanted some distance from him. In addition, other sources state that Kim is paying for extra security at her kid’s school in order to prevent any backlash being directed at their children due to Kanye’s outbursts.
The fans on social media had a mixed response to this. A certain subset felt that Kim’s approach was only going to damage the children in the long run.
Meanwhile, others were of the view that Kim had no choice in order to avoid getting involved in Kanye’s outbursts. One person wrote: “Man I can’t even defend Kanye no mo.”
