The Bella Twins On A Moment Of Bliss With Alexa Bliss
So this seems a little sudden and inexplicable, doesn’t it? Well, the Bellas do have something to talk about – they’re both recently pregnant. Amazingly, the twins are expecting to have their new babies two weeks apart from one another. Little bit crazy, that one. But it seems a little suspect to think that they’re coming back just for that, as it doesn’t really mean a whole lot to the WWE landscape. It’s just kind of unusual, particularly when we haven’t seen hide nor hair of either of them in quite some time.
It does sorta get you speculating. Personally, I always found it funny that we never had Women’s tag titles around during the Bellas’ active days. For better or for worse, they’re among the most famous female duos in WWE history, arguably the top of the list. So it was always a little curious that they never had tandem belts to go after.
Asuka and Kairi Sane are technically crossbrand competitors, holding titles that could theoretically be defended on either show. You’d be forgiven for forgetting this as those titles haven’t really had any presence on SmackDown since the Draft, though a couple of SmackDown teams did challenge for the gold during Starrcade back in December. Regardless, they could theoretically show up whenever and wherever. All this is to say that my main guess, if they’re gonna tease anything, would have to be something involving the Kabuki Warriors. Now of course, it’s a little hard to imagine they’ll be going after the tag titles any time soon when we literally just heard that they’re pregnant. But maybe waaaaay down the line, there could be something there. Who knows?
Something else of note is that Nikki Cross was initially part of this advertisement, enough to be on the graphic, only to be taken out of it. One could speculate on this but it’s probably just because WWE is very silly about people sharing names and they think the audience will be too confused if two Nikkis exist in the same space.
