With WWE WrestleMania 36 right around the corner, there’s plenty of speculation going around as to who is facing who and for what. It’s more of a secret this year as previously the card was “leaked” around October to build hype, but with social media the WWE appears they want to keep it a secret for as long as possible. Unlike the previous card I reported on here, this leaked WrestleMania 36 card looks legitimate. Or as close to legitimate as it can get.

Spoilers
None of these matches are a surprise except for John Cena versus Elias. This was leaked a week or two ago, and has fans scratching their heads given there’s been no build up or hint of it. In fact, it seems out of current character for Elias. Unless Cena returns as a heel or to simply see what Elias has to offer.
The resulting match should be a good one as, like Dolph Ziggler, Elias in highly underrated by many for his skill in the ring and on the mic. A duality that’s missing in the top superstars.
There’s also been talk of Andrade losing the US Championship because of his recent suspension, so it’s safe to assume either Garza or Carrillo wins it and is going to heighten their rivalry while Mysterio and Andrade fade into the background for a while.
To be honest, we can expect every championship to change hands except for the Smackdown Women’s. Something just feels off that Naomi will win it so soon, but that could change in the coming weeks. Naomi is extremely talented so we could see a clean sweep of championships depending on the build up between her and Bayley.
Can’t miss match – Randy Orton and Edge
The buildup for this has been terrific as Randy Orton has established himself as a psychotic heel that’s tormented by what he’s done but can’t stop himself.
Edge will have the bonus of an injured hero’s return as he’ll seek to settle the score between them.
The only bad part about this could be the pacing, as Vince McMahon has had Orton take his time when dealing with Edge and Matt Hardy. It’s cost them the tension and suspense they wanted to build because there’s no reason security or others shouldn’t have come out. Aside from the pop when Edge returned and for Orton, this has been mishandled on several levels, but all of that will be forgotten if they put on an awesome match.
The number of championships make it hard to get excited for the title defenses, but the quality of this leaked WrestleMania 36 card is far superior to the last one. With any luck, this is the real deal barring any minor changes.
