Kanye West is allegedly close to finalising his divorce from his ex Kim Kardashian.

According to reports, the rapper has hired Melinda Gates’ former attorney Robert Stephan Cohen in order to show that he means business.
And as part of that process, the court documents allege that the divorce could soon be settled, as the star filed a ‘declaration of disclosure.’ It is claimed that Kanye has sent all the requisite financial documents that will allow the two sides to settle their finances.
Although that may be the case, it appears that they are no closer to getting an agreement with regards to the custody of their four children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
This is something that the star has been very vocal about, as he made it absolutely clear in no uncertain terms that he wanted to have a say on his children’s education.
This has included reports that Kanye wanted his children to enrol in his ‘Donda Academy,’ with suggestions that perhaps Kim was not so keen on doing this. And yet, any chances of Kanye backing down over the education appear unlikely.
Not only that, but Kanye has previously stated that Kim has the children 80 percent of the time. And that balance of power is something that does need to be addressed.
During his prior comments with Tucker Carlson, he said: “Right now we’ve come to a compromise — but I’m not finished because I don’t compromise — but we’ve come to a compromise that my kids come to my school.”
The fans on social media welcomed the news, but felt that they had to put any bad blood behind them. This was on the basis that their public feuds were not going to help the children involved since they would see it all play out.
