Kanye West has given another hint that he wants to get back together with his ex Kim Kardashian.
Kanye West Claims He Will Love Kim For Life
The rapper has made no secret in the past that he wanted to get back with the Kardashian for the sake of his children. So much so that he has even gone on to coin the term ‘Kimye.’
While that may have been the case, other reports have stressed that the rapper is close to finalising his divorce.
And yet, following Kim’s break up with Pete Davidson after having dated him for around 9 months, it has left her single once again with Kanye potentially ready to step in.
In his comments with Piers Morgan, Kanye said the following: “I may be divorced on paper, but I’m not divorced of the idea of being the protector.
“Her name is no longer West. And my name is now only Ye. If we were ever to be together again, what would our name be? Kimye?” Nevertheless, the chances of them getting back together are very slim for the following reasons.
First of all, the duo continue to butt heads over co-parenting arrangements. Kanye has made it clear in no uncertain terms that he wants to have a bigger input on his children’s education.
Secondly, other reports have stressed that Kim is looking to distance herself from Kanye as much as possible following his ‘White Lives Matter’ tops and alleged anti-Semitic comments.
And yet, Kanye doubled down on his belief that he will always care for Kim. His following comments confirmed as much: “I will love her for life, and oddly enough I will protect her.”
The fans on social media understood what Kanye was feeling. After all, he did have 4 children with the Kardashian which meant that the split was bound to have hurt him.
