Things continue to change in the WWE since Triple H took over as the head of WWE Creative, and another beneficiary of that is Finn Balor.
Balor is a fan favorite that’s had success in the past, but under Vince McMahon there were reports that Balor’s time in the light was limited and his job was to put over younger talent.
An example of this was how he was United States Champion earlier this year, but lost the title to Austin Theory, who was being pushed harder than any other as Mr. McMahon’s handpicked future of WWE.
While it’s always good for wrestlers to put each other over, it doesn’t make any sense to limit a world class talent, and now it appears Balor will be fully unleashed.
We’ve seen him receive more TV time the last few weeks as The Judgement Day has racked up controversial win after controversial win.
I’m told that significant plans are lined up for Finn Balor in the future. I don’t know exactly for what those plans are, but he is a strong favorite of the new leadership group. Expect Finn to play a big role in the foreseeable future of WWE.

Booked as a champion
During his two runs in NXT, Balor was booked like a top champion by Triple H and fans loved it. We may see him in the world title chase at some point, but right now he’s been stealing the show with Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio.
The shift was subtle, but it’s been obvious that Balor is getting a solid push, and Wrestle Votes reported on this prior to Extreme Rules.
“I’m told that significant plans are lined up for Finn Balor in the future. I don’t know exactly for what those plans are, but he is a strong favorite of the new leadership group. Expect Finn to play a big role in the foreseeable future of WWE.”
Bringing back stables
One way Balor is flourishing is as head of The Judgement Day as the WWE has started bringing in or creating stables again.
In many ways, the Judgement Day has a similar feel to D-X, but without the jokes. A big reason for that is Rhea Ripley coming across like a new version of Chyna after she body slammed Luke Gallows on this week’s Monday Night Raw (October 24).
There is plenty more growth ahead for The Judgement Day as there are plenty of championships for them to go after from the tag titles to the WWE Championship, but in the meantime we get to enjoy their current feud with the OC.
