This Saturday sees one of the most unpredictable main events of the calender year for WWE. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will defend his belts against internet megastar Logan Paul at Crown Jewel. Paul might be fresh to WWE, having just two matches – he knows that he could be just ‘one lucky punch’ from defeating The Tribal Chief – something no one has been able to do for the past two years. He’s even got plans on what he would try to do as champion.
Logan Paul Would Aim For Match With The Rock As Undisputed WWE Universal Champion
While speaking with Sports Bible, Logan Paul would detail his plans if he is able to land that lucky punch and defeat Roman Reigns. He would look for a match against a legend of WWE, saying the following when asked about a dream opponent for WrestleMania 39.
“Dwayne ‘The Rock Johnson’ baby. It has to be because we have so much history. We go way back and he’s larger than life man. I like taking on those types of personalities. So it has to be Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at WrestleMania.”
Many have Roman Reigns vs. The Rock as a dream match for WrestleMania, and seeing Logan Paul in the mix instead would be a twist, albeit a deflating one. It’s been long teased – a match between Reigns & Rock, and would be a fitting final match for Rock in WWE. Paul is likely to be involved with WWE through 2023, and a WrestleMania match would be a certainty, as he is becoming one of the biggest draws in the company.
It remains to be seen who will leave Saudi Arabia as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, with the odds favouring Roman Reigns at the time of writing. Paul as the top champion would be an interesting thing to see – especially given how long the reign of Reigns has been. Who do you think will leave Crown Jewel as champion?
