While the other five women involved in Elimination Chamber all have a good chance of leaving the match with a shot at Becky Lynch, the favorite to win is clear. Coming off her time as the most dominant NXT Women’s Champion of all time, Shayna Baszler made her name known on Monday Night RAW after a brutal attack on Becky Lynch. The Submission Magician would even bite Becky Lynch and draw blood. This would help to fire up The Man, who is supporting Shayna going into the this match.

Shayna Baszler has never entered an Elimination Chamber, but she is no stranger to being in a cage for a fight. She is one of the four horsewomen of MMA. Being trained by former UFC fighter Josh Barnett and as a certified catch wrestler by Billy Robinson, she is a very deadly grappler. In 26 fights, she won 15, with 13 wins by submission. This carried over to NXT, where her finisher the Kirifuda Clutch would end all her defenses. With that legitimate fighting experience and a finisher which can end any opponent, she is in a very good position for this match.
Shayna Baszler Has A PPV Main Event Win
Despite only just coming up from NXT at the Royal Rumble, Shayna has already put her name in the history books of WWE. At Survivor Series in 2019, she main evented alongside Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley & RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. She would win that match, after she threw Becky Lynch over an announce table and locked Bayley in the Kirifuda Clutch for the win. This showed she was the best of the three champions, and that NXT was the strongest brand at that time.
Becky Lynch Needs This Match
The Man has been the RAW Women’s Champion for nearly a year now, having won it at last years Wrestlemania when she beat both Ronda Rousey & Charlotte Flair to claim both the RAW & Smackdown Women’s Championships. Since then, she has knocked down every challenger and has gotten cocky. Someone like Shayna is sure to take her back down to reality, and reintroduce the concept of being humble to the dominant champion. Shayna has already struck on her, and that has Becky fired up. Making the match official alone might be enough to have Becky drop the jokes, and prove once and for all why she earned the nickname The Man in the first place.
