Impact Wrestling Results Thanksgiving Special returned as Mickie James’ match at Over Drive was recapped, including Deonna Purrazzo coming out to tell her she’s looking to end Mickie’s career.
Mickie admitted she’s shocked she made it this far down the road in her Last Rodeo without running into Purrazzo, and she accepted and their match will be on next week’s IMPACT!

Bully Ray’s betrayal
Bully Ray’s betrayal of Josh Alexander from Over Drive was the next bit of current news, and on Before The Impact, George Iceman explained the Josh is taking some time away to be with his family and Bully’s attack.
What we didn’t see on Over Drive was Rich Swann coming out to help Josh, while Scott D’Amore confronted Bully and threw his coat and mic at him.
Bully eventually left after asking everyone if they knew who he is.
It was then announced that next week Rich Swann will face Bully Ray next week.
Trey Miguel is thankful for the X-Division Championship, Purrazzo is thankful she’s going to make Mickie James retire, and Rehwoldt is thankful for having a mute button in his headset so he doesn’t have to listen to Hanifan.
Josh said he’s thankful for his wife, family, and Impact Wrestling because he gets to live his dream every day.

Kenny King’s grievances
In an extended clip, it showed Kenny King attacking Mike Bailey on the floor so Swann could pick up the win at Over Drive.
King said he’s not worried about winning because he’s focused on exposing Bailey for being fake. He’s going to be everywhere and won’t stop until he exposes and then disposes of Bailey.
Only then can he focus on being X-Division Champion.
Backstage, Yuya and Delirious shared what they’re thankful for.
Macklin’s going to do what he has to
Steve Macklin cut a promo about how he’s being held back by his company, and next week when he faces Frankie Kazarian he’s following what he’s always had to do by tagging and bagging him.

This should be a fun match as next week is starting to resemble a pay-per-view special.
The show closed out with the 2007 Turkey Bowl match with Chris Sabin, Samoa Joe, and AJ Styles.
Over all this was a fun show and we got to see plenty of fun moments from the past while also continuing to move forward with the current storylines.
It can be hard to do a highlight episode right, and this one walked the line pretty well. What did you think about it? Let is know in the comments below and thank you for joining Impact Wrestling Results Thanksgiving Special.
We had a blast and can’t wait for next week.
See you then!
