There’s been plenty of discussion about Triple H looking for a legitimate challenger to take one or both titles off Roman Reigns.
The focus has reportedly been to build someone up and do it in a legitimate storyline instead of a one off appearance we used to see regularly.
WWE Plans for SamUFC 282i Zayn and The Bloodline Breakup Leaked
Wrestlingnews.co broke the news about plans for the Bloodline and Sami Zayn, but also Roman Reigns’ next few title defenses.
It’s important to note plans change all the time due to injuries or other factors, and this could be nothing more than a rumor at the moment.
Owens to challenge Reigns at Royal Rumble
There’s always a lot of fantasy booking going on between fans and wrestling news sites. Even wrestlers get involved some times. It’s fun to imagine what will happen or what we expect to happen after watching the storylines unfold.
According to WrestleNews, Sheamus was supposed to challenge Reigns at the Royal Rumble, but now it looks like Kevin Owens will get his shot at Reigns, and it could start Sami Zayn’s divorce from the Bloodline.
It could even start before then depending on how fast Owens goes through the Bloodline to get to Reigns, and when it comes time for him to face Zayn it’ll be a good moment as their interactions are always gold.
Zayn may hesitate and that’ll cost him the match, and that could lead to some friction between Zayn and the Bloodline.
Since there’s been adamant reports that Reigns won’t lose a title until WrestleMania, it’s safe to say Owens won’t win the title, but he could push Reigns to the point he disqualifies himself like he did against Seth Rollins.
Zayn’s turn
After Owens’ attempt or prior to it, he and Zayn will reform their friendship and a new challenger for Reigns’ titles will step forward.
It looks like Zayn’s slated to face Reigns for the Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber. This should be a good one as Zayn has elevated his game in and out of the ring and is finally getting the respect and love from fans he’s long deserved.
To make thing more interesting, Zayn and Owens are expected to challenged the Usos for the Unified Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 39 in what will officially be the final nail in the Honorary Uce’s tenure in the Bloodline.
There’s plenty of room for twists and turns in this, and it’s going to be fun seeing this storyline continue. It’s one of the best ones the WWE has had in years, and we’re going to hate seeing it end.
