The work week is over… it’s Friday folks! Which means another episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown is soon at hand! We have ourselves another edition of the Firefly Funhouse to look forward to, this one likely to include the one and only John Cena! Another Edition Of The Firefly Funhouse To Air Tonight, This One Likely Featuring John Cena
Last week was a bit of a rollercoaster for the Fiend and the Firefly Funhouse host Bray Wyatt alike. He lost the Universal title to Goldberg at WWE Super Show-Down in what was a fairly controversial decision. Then, the very next night, he confronted John Cena and challenged him to a match at WrestleMania. A swift tip of the cap made it clear that he accepted, even though mere moments prior he was swearing that this year Mania would go on without him.
So we basically have it official at this point that Cena will be going up against the Fiend at Mania in Tampa Bay. That’s still a full month away as of right now so we have plenty left to do before we get there. The next step in their build seems to be on tonight. We know we’ll be getting another edition of the Firefly Funhouse. Initially WWE announced that John Cena would be on the Firefly Funhouse, as if were a talk show ala A Moment Of Bliss. This was swiftly redacted.
Generally speaking other people don’t get onto the Funhouse with Bray. The only exception is Seth Rollins who once just found it somehow and burned it down. Fortunately he only burned down the Raw Funhouse – the SmackDown one is still just fine! It’s yet to have an intruder. WWE may have actually spoiled that Cena will be another exception tonight by stating this. They have since changed their advertisement to simply listing another Firefly Funhouse segment. But one can certainly assume Cena will be involved, even if it’s speaking with Bray via satellite like Goldberg used to.
