In the 90-Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Preview that aired after Sunday’s episode, the couple argues, and Liz Woods eventually leaves the set.
Liz tells Ed Brown as they sit at a table, “I’ve been thinking about the future and wanting to be safe. Ed is certain, “I’m not going to be forced into getting married.” Liz is seen speaking in a confessional as the camera cuts. She cries, “I don’t deserve the drama anymore,” as the tears fall down her cheeks. “I don’t deserve the heartbreak. I don’t deserve it.”
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Liz Woods Walk Out On Fiancée, Big Ed: “ I’m Not Going To Be Forced Into Getting Married”
The preview returns to the couple seated at the table before Liz gets up and exits the building past the camera crew. The pair discussed Liz’s impending return to full-time employment earlier in Sunday’s show. She will be working for a long period, and Ed worries about how late she will be working. Ed confessed to the cameras, “I have to say, Liz going back to work full-time does terrify me.”
“Because it has led to our breakups in the past. Yet, I still want her to feel empowered and independent.” “I’m just going to have to be comfortable with it if I want my relationship with Liz to work”, he stated.
Liz mentioned that she occasionally needed to work a night shift, but Ed didn’t think it was a good idea. “I don’t want 1 a.m. bulls—, like, midnight stuff,” Ed said. “Choosing shifts can sometimes be out of Liz’s control, but “it is what it is,” she said. “I’m not going to understand that,” Ed said. “I don’t want you working until 1 a.m. I’m sorry, I don’t. And I’m never going to be okay with it.”
Liz learned that she was being offered ownership of the restaurant later in the episode after she had been back at work for a few days as a full-time manager. She told Ed the news when he visited her at the restaurant. After congratulating her, he launched into an argument against it. In the episode from the previous week, Ed and Liz discussed moving and decided it would be a good idea.
In front of the cameras, Ed stated, “You know, I’m bewildered because Liz tells me that she wants to move, a fresh start, and I agreed because I’m still prepared to fight for this relationship. “So it’s like okay, one day she’s like, we’re moving, and the next day she’s like, oh, I got offered a partnership. It feels like she’s choosing her career over us. It’s very selfish, and I’m disappointed.” Ed admitted that he realizes that partners put in a lot of work and that he ultimately “wants a wife” as they discussed the role.
